EWER of Windsor/Clewer

Switching gears, and looking at my EWER family in the villages of Clewer, New Windsor and (Old) Windsor, three villages close by one another in Berkshire, and across the river from Eton. My ancestor Edward EWER was transported to NSW as a convict.

As part of reassessing a few loose ends I'm putting here records I've gotten from those villages. Those in italics are accounted for in my tree. I will add more records as I gather them.

My ancestor Thomas EWER was born abt 1770 and married in Clewer in 1790. I can find no trace of his birth, but there is a  Joseph c. Joseph/Susanne at Windsor 1771 in the parish records for Old Windsor, that suggests that this is Thomas' brother and his parents were Joseph and Susanne. The final entry above (Susan, 30 Apr 1812) may be her burial. It is certainly the earliest EWER burial there, and would connect the family together.
