On Tuesday, the 20th September, at his residence, Howick-street, Mr. Edward Ewer, aged 78 years.
Edwards death certificate stated he was 68, which is much more accurate.

Edward Ewer (1796-1859) death notice
As the Bathurst newspapers are being digitized now by the National Library of Australia (http://ndpbeta.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/home) I'm expecting a few items of my EWER family to crop up (and a few other families including AHEARN). Here is the death notice for my convict ancestor Edward Ewer, the day after he passed away.
