My gr gr grandfather Alfred Ernest HALL (http://thehistoryofmatt.blogspot.com/2009/11/alfred-ernest-hall-1870-1954.html) was one of fifteen children to William and Eliza nee BLISS (http://thehistoryofmatt.blogspot.com/2011/03/hall-family-in-yass-nsw.html). A fellow HALL descendent from a line of the HALL family descended from Alfred's brother (David Guillaume) has provided me with a 1983 copy of Alfred's birth certificate. Why did that family have a copy? This was the time when my grandfather's brother (Frank HALL) was working on family history - he worked at the University of Wollongong, and probably connected with the HALL lines in that area and passed on a copy. At least that's what I think!
