I’m in Westerns Australia and I have a box full of slides from the late 50s, 60s and early 70s that I have come across in my late grandfathers belongings. Dennis Lodge and Dennis Island seem to be quiet a prominent feature in these slides and I feel that the owners of them had moved from there to Albany Western Australia maybe in the mid/late 60s. Now, there a photo of a headstone for a Mr Noble Sweetnam, B1897 D1968 here. No mention of wife’s name on here, but placed by her and Children Bruce, Warren and Glenn. No 302 down the bottom right corner of headstone and I’m not sure of it’s location. Albany WA or Dennis Island NSW etc. I have scanned the albums and would dearly love to return these to someone in the family somehow.
Sincerely.
Ryan O’Connell
Geraldton, Western Australia
0437110411Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04890328867427729667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2218919218074623096.post-77933026696328418132014-01-14T00:34:49.249-05:002014-01-14T00:34:49.249-05:00Hi Matt - I have the cemetery CD at home which I t...Hi Matt - I have the cemetery CD at home which I think has some photos. I checked the original trascript and it was either mis-transcribed or mis-typed (perhaps a very worn headstone).
I have edited the post to make s note of this.
cheers,
mattMatt Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00906580225279644504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2218919218074623096.post-41308310701824770612011-06-23T01:48:57.251-04:002011-06-23T01:48:57.251-04:00its pettett. the headstones have all been moved at...its pettett. the headstones have all been moved at dennis island and put into one areaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
